- Hey, how about making the second stage boot, say Julian's loader, an
- executable DOS program?

- That way 386BSD wouldn't have to reset the keyboard and do a bunch of
- other bootup dinking that is still causing us compatability fits --
- DOS could handle it.

- Plus people who needed to do weird stuff like config a card could do it
- with the DOS utility those companies inevitably provide and, you know,
- put it in their AUTOEXEC.BAT.

- 386BSD.EXE would find the 386BSD partition and load /386bsd in its normal
- manner.

- The only drawback is you'd need a DOS partition or floppy to do it that
- way, no biggie but possibly offensive to purists.
