- Is there a reliable console driver? I've twice crashed or hung 386BSD by
- leaning on the keyboard, and I've got all 58 patches installed, except the
- WD networking card one.
-
- I'm running PCcons, though I'd rather use one that presented an 8859.1
- character set.
-
- Another problem I'm having is that if I don't have anything plugged
- into my serial port when I come up, it sees it in the probe but later
- attempts to open it get ENXIO. If there was a device there on boot it
- works.
-
- Finally, an update to the BSD FAQ:
-
- "compat" library:
-
- The fix to allow building programs without -lcompat suggests
- putting #defines for sgtty in termios.h. Actually, the right
- place is sgtty.h. :->
