  33. 386BSD asks the controller about the drive geometry instead of believing
  34. the CMOS settings.  If your CMOS settings don't match what the controller
  35. says, you have "translated drive" problems.

  37. Get the ide_conf.exe file from your favorite archive  to find out about your
  38. drive... despite its name, it's useful for translated drives other than
  39. just IDE drives.
