-
- It's street-slang for the medical term "penisu". I didn't realize there
- was such a wide variation in slang in Japan. Remember, you insisted on a
- translation.
-
- Watakushi-wa Nihongo-o sukoshi hanashimasu... Eigo-o hanashimasu-ka?

- Ah, so you were mistranslating! I thought you meant "gengoshogai no".
-

-
- Of course, the other definition of "hash" is what you do to articles
- rather than responding to the points made in them.
-
- >Are there any new book of Knuth published on April 1?
-
- I don't know; when was your copy published? Hashing involves mapping
- N things to M slots; generally M < N. Do you hash the other direction?
- *Is* there another direction?
-
- Anata-wa wakarimasu-ka?

-
- "cat" the command, not "cat" as in "neko".

- Haji o shiri nasai!

- Well, "Sozo ijo no mono deshita" (That was different).
- Suiteki de atama ni anao akerarete iru yona kokoromochi deshita.
- (It was like drops of water boring a hole in my forehead).
-
- Arigato... IIE!
- (Thank you... NOT!)
