  12. I have a 60 Meg Identica tape streamer made by Scientific Micro Systems of USA
  13. with an EVEREX EV-833 controller card. It seems to be QIC-36.

  15. I would like to use this with 386BSD. The tape driver which comes with 386BSD
  16. tries to work but gives critical tape errors. I have tried the wt.c patched by
  17. D. Muntz for the archive tape drive and card but that just crashed the system.

  19. Has someone successfully got an EVEREX controller to work with 386BSD ? 
  20. Or can someone please tell me where to get programming information for the
  21. EV-833 from Everex so I can write my own ?
