- Please help!
-
- I'm using a IIcx with MacTCP 1.1.1 and MacSLIP as client and a IIci as SLIP
- server under a/ux 3.0. Both, client and server are connected to ZyXEL modems.
- I've setup an account for a slipuser with /etc/slip as login shell. Once the
- slipuser has dialed in slip automatically starts to run, establishing the slip
- connection. The slip connection so far works fine. The problem is that slip
- pretends to run although the line has been released on a disconnect. What has
- to be done so that a/ux mentions a disconnect and kills the slip process? In
- what way has the modem to be configured? By the way I'm using hardware handshake
- cables.
-
- Any help is highly appreciated. Thanks in advance.
