- Hi,
-
- I'm using my MAC AUX to help some SUNs and other UNIX machines to access
- our LaserWriter. This works fine when I include the complete name of a
- client in my /etc/hosts.equiv or /etc/hosts.lpd file like .eg.
- "mickey.electrum.kth.se" where electrum.kth.se is our domain.
-
- However, when I say "+" (which means all machines can use my MAC for
- printing) nothing happens. "+@electrum.kth.se" doesn't help either. So,
- e.g. donald.electrum.kth.se cannot print.
-
- The results looks like this:
-
- donald>lpq -Paux
- macwithaux.electrum.kth.se: /usr/lib/lpd: remote: Your host does not have
- line printer access
-
- Does anyone have an idea?
-
- Frank
