- Help,
-
- Maybe I'm missing something big here, but we've got a number of AUX 3.0
- MacIIci's that I recently reconfigured and answered yes to the newconfig
- query of wether or not I wanted to use NIS for sendmail aliases.
-
- Well that worked just dandy but now It seems to be locked into that. ? I've
- run newconfig again and said "No" to use NIS sendmail aliases and created
- my own aliases file run sendmail -bi and things still go to the aliases on
- the NIS server - ( NIS Server is a SparcServer 3/90 )
-
- What the heck? - is this something to do with the sendmail.cf ???
- If so what do I need to do? Running NIS for passwords is mandatory.
- It would be nice to use it for sendmail EXCEPT for the root aliases. I'd
- like to have those set to something different. Anyway, It's fairly easy to
- mirrot the user part of the aliases data base so if the above is not
- possible i'll do that. But in the meantime I can't get "it" to let go of
- the old aliases fiell on the SparcServer w/o nuking NIS.
-
- please email resp.
-
- thanks
