  15. Maybe I'm missing something big here, but we've got a number of AUX 3.0
  16. MacIIci's that I recently reconfigured and answered yes to the newconfig
  17. query of wether or not I wanted to use NIS for sendmail aliases.

  19. Well that worked just dandy but now It seems to be locked into that. ? I've
  20. run newconfig again and said "No" to use NIS sendmail aliases and created
  21. my own aliases file run sendmail -bi and things still go to the aliases on
  22. the NIS server - ( NIS Server is a SparcServer 3/90 )

  24. What the heck? - is this something to do with the sendmail.cf ???
  25. If so what do I need to do?   Running NIS for passwords is mandatory.
  26. It would be nice to use it for sendmail EXCEPT for the root aliases. I'd
  27. like to have those set to something different.  Anyway, It's fairly easy to
  28. mirrot the user part of the aliases data base so if the above is not
  29. possible i'll do that.  But in the meantime I can't get "it" to let go of
  30. the old aliases fiell on the SparcServer w/o nuking NIS.
