  13. Now that I have 20MB, increased NBUF to 2000 (per the FAQ) and have decided
  14. to leave the swap space alone (per the discussion in this group), what are
  15. the performance ramifications of increasing the amount of memory available
  16. to System 7?

  18. Will A/UX performance decrease (increased paging, or ?) by letting the
  19. MacOS have access to all 20MB or would overall performance be better by
  20. limiting MacOS memory?
  21.  
  22. Also, what effect does the MacOS disk cache setting (memory CDEV) have
  23. under A/UX?  I currently have it set to 1024 which is the same setting I
  24. use when running System 7 without A/UX.
