- I bought a IIvx also in October with great expectations of AUX, cdrom
- quicktime... etc etc...
-
- Let me tell you a couple of facts...
-
- The IIVX will not run aux for a number of reasons:
- video (has basically the lC video)
- cdrom (cd300 not supported by aux yet)
- while you can install it (I think so anyway), it will not run
- under aux.
- The VX requires 7.1 os which requires a lot of futzing
- around with aux install disks.
-
- Do as I did and drop back to the IIci... you will be much happier..
-
- But do not get a new 16" monitor/ E-Systems accellerated graphics
- card bundle that Apple sells if you want to run aux.. it too is
- not compatible with aux.. it will not boot the kernel.
