  24.     It's 1.5.  You can buy the server and the necessary development
  25. stuff, but they're separate packages.  The X server comes with some
  26. number of clients (including window managers) and the development
  27. package comes with stuff necessary to make porting X clients pretty
  28. easy (including a sockets thing).  I've heard that porting most X
  29. clients is pretty easy.  You need at least (I assume) the SAS C 5.10
  30. compiler.  Ethernet is available from Commodore, and you can buy it
  31. through Gfxbase for some discount.  See the FAQ for Gfxbase's address.
  32. The address appeared on an Amiga group not two days ago.

  34.     Oh yeah, the X server is really nice and fast if you use it
  35. in mono.  It multitasks, is system-friendly, and all that good
  36. stuff.
