  10.    I wish I had gotten in on the beginning of this thread because I'm 
  11.    *extremely* interested in running my A2000 as an X terminal...
  12.    However, to add another data point to the thread, let me point out
  13.    that X is indeed free (depending on your definition of _free_), but
  14.    there is not a port of it to the Amiga to my knowledge. What I would
  15.    like to know is what exactly Gfx_base includes, and whether it is
  16.    merely an X spoofing app (like X vision for the PC) or a fully
  17.    realized library of Xlib to Amiga (is it called Intuition?) conversion
  18.    functions? Ultimately, I only want to use the A2000 as an X term, as I
  19.    have said, but it would be certainly worth the premium price if I was
  20.    able to port stuff to Amiga using it (stuff like tcl/tk).
  21.    Has there been any talk in this thread about ethernet boards? I'll also
  22.    be needing one of those for Gfx_base, I imagine.
