- However, to add another data point to the thread, let me point out
- that X is indeed free (depending on your definition of _free_), but
- there is not a port of it to the Amiga to my knowledge. What I would
- like to know is what exactly Gfx_base includes, and whether it is
- merely an X spoofing app (like X vision for the PC) or a fully
- realized library of Xlib to Amiga (is it called Intuition?) conversion
- functions? Ultimately, I only want to use the A2000 as an X term, as I
- have said, but it would be certainly worth the premium price if I was
- able to port stuff to Amiga using it (stuff like tcl/tk).
- Has there been any talk in this thread about ethernet boards? I'll also
- be needing one of those for Gfx_base, I imagine.
