- [ I checked the FAQ, I thought this would be there... ]
-
- Are there any alternative keyboards available for the RS6k's
- that are more "unix friendly"?
-
- Example:
- - Control key on the home row
- - Caps lock out of the way.
- - Escape key accessible without taking your hand off the keyboard
- - tilde and backtick reasonably reachable
- (etc.)
-
- (I would guess that these would come from 3rd party vendors...)
-
- - Or do PS/2 keyboards work with the RS6000?
- (Or can they be made to work without a soldering iron?)
-
- - Failing any of the above, can the keyboard be remapped via
- software so that it's always remapped?
- (In other words *not* using xmodmap, possibly changing
- key mapping tables in the driver)?
-
-
- Thanks In Advance,
