  30. It also had a bug with the optimizer that would cause it to compile and
  31. run fine, but it wouldn't update certain varibles within an decrement loop...
  32. it would calculate the value of the variable properly the first time through
  33. the loop, but then after the loop terminated, the variable would still have
  34. the initial value...worked fine w/o optimizer and fine under xlf 2.2...
  35. IBM sent us a bug fix that fixed it...hopefully your version will already
  36. have the bug fix in it...
