  14.     We are cobsidering purchasing an FDDI setup for 6 RS/6000's
  15.     to perform parallel computations using PVM. Has anyone had
  16.     experience with this type of setup? Can anyone give me some
  17.     general information about fiber optic links for the IBM's in
  18.     general - are they proprietary, can something be purchased
  19.     from a third party, any experiences using one or setting
  20.     one up etc..  We are debating whether to buy the link or 
  21.     another computer. Any help is appreciated.
