  12. At our department we are wondering if the Sabine graphics adapter is supported
  13. by more recent versions of AIX than 3.1.5, and if it will still be supported in
  14. the future. We've heard some totally opposite opinions from our local IBM
  15. representatives so far. We are primarily interested in X11 R4/R5 and in GL.

  17. According to some postings a while ago there was a trade-in program for Sabine
  18. adapters in the US. Does anyone know of a similar program in Europe?

  20. The reason for this is that we have an RS/6000 with a Sabine adapter on a study
  21. contract with IBM. The study contract has expired now and the equipment is
  22. offered to us at a reduced price. Needless to say that continued support of the
  23. hardware is an important criterion while evaluating this offer.
