  13. The PTF's shipped with 3.2.3 in October were for the base release which
  14. basically just supported new hardware.  The PTF's in that release dragged
  15. in some fixes, but most of the X11_3d PTF's were not a part of that PTF.
  16. That was the 3.2.3 BASE release.  The 3.2.3 EXTENDED release just became 
  17. available about 2 weeks ago and has all this 3D stuff wrapped in it.  There
  18. is X11R5 plus 3D fixes for all hardware adapters, and software products like
  19. GL, phigs, etc...It is my "belief" that the above PTF is on that tape, and may
  20. even be superceded by a newer one, but it is hard to tell as PTF's get
  21. generated
  22. every few weeks.  I would probably start by getting 3.2.3 extended and parsing
  23. your way thru the documentation to see what PTF's are on it for what you need.
  24. If there are still any problems, support should be able to track down if that 
  25. problem still exists or if it has been fixed.  Else it is best to wait until
  26. the next Selective enhancement or Preventive Maintenance Package for upgrades/
  27. fixes.
