  10. we ordered and received some of IBM's new 5GB 8mm tape transports. they look
  11. different, no flip down door,more like a fancy car tape deck (front load)
  12. and more lights. ANYWAY, i can't get it to configure. called IBM support, they
  13. said i needed some PTFs or V3.2.3 enhanced. i ordered both and got a tape
  14. fula PTFs, which i installed. still won't configure. looked at all the PTFs
  15. and none of them report to support the 5GB 8mm, looked at the PTFs list posted
  16. in AUstin, nothing on 5GB 8mm support. called back and got a long list of PTFs
  17. required and the one i can't find anywhere U411711. this is on a very busy
  18. system with lotsa SCSI devices so i'll attempt to install on another machine
  19. soon but i thought i'd ask if anyone else had successfuly configured one of
  20. these.
