  13. I am attempting to mount a filesystems from a DECStation 5000/200
  14. running Ultrix 4.3 onto an IBM RS6000 running AIX 3.2.

  16. When rebooting the RS6000, I get an error message:

  18.     0513-056 Timeout waiting for command response
  19.  
  20. This message is displayed a couple of times before the login
  21. prompt is given.  When I attempt to log into the system,
  22. I am never prompted for a password.  All attempts to log in
  23. are hung.

  25. When I remove the mount through smit and reboot the machine, all
  26. works well and no error message is displayed.

  28. Interestingly, I am able to mount numerous other filesystems
  29. from other machines (Decstation 3100's, Sun 4's).
  30.  
  31. Has anyone seen this type of problem?
