- I'm planning on buying an APC Backup-UPS 600 to use with my NeXT
- computer, and I could use some advice on setting it up so that my
- machine will shut down cleanly if the UPS battery runs low. The UPS
- I'm looking at has a output port which can signal that the battery is
- running low, but I'm not sure what kind of wiring I'd need to do in
- order to use it.
-
- If anyone who has had experience doing this sort of thing with this
- UPS, I'd really appreciate knowing how you did it. If you haven't
- used this particular UPS but still have a pretty good idea how such
- things work, I'd be grateful if you'd send me e-mail so I can ask you
- for help if I have problems.
-
- Many thanks,
- Dave
