  10. Could someone show us how to reconfig Consensys (Unix/386 SVR4) in
  11. order to support more pseudo terminals?

  13. Currently we have 16 pseudo terminals configured by default, but
  14. we would want to increase the number to say 32.  We had tried
  15. changing entries in /etc/conf/sdevice.d/pts, /etc/conf/sdevice.d/ptm,
  16. and /etc/conf/sdevice.d/ptem then we ran /etc/conf/bin/idmknod to
  17. create the device files in /dev. And we finally ran /etc/conf/bin/idbuild
  18. to rebuild the Unix kernel.  The pts device files were created,
  19. but we still cannot open more than 16 pseudo terminals.
