- Does anyone have a daemon that will listen to the ethernet and
- yell if it notices any ethernet packets that arent consistant
- with the /etc/hosts and /etc/ethers files.
-
- We (like a lot of sites) have PCs floating around with access to
- the site ethernet. I want to be able to spot problems as they
- arrise.
-
- I have seen the "arpwatch" code that uses bpf and this is the
- sort of thing that I would like ---- but it entails some kernal
- rebuilding and Im reluctant to do that in the near future.
-
- Thanks in Advance,
-
- Anthony.
