  12. So here I am, installing TeX (the just the plain usual ones) on a Unix
  13. machine for the first time, everything seem to have compiled, and there
  14. are dandy little executable files like initex, virtex, inimf and virmf.
  15. I try running initex, it tells me that it can't find any .tfm files.
  16. I look at the README file, it doesn't tell me anything about producing
  17. the said .tfm files.  Could some kind soul tell me how to go about it?
