  12. I need to decide whether to use "pictex" and other associated macros to
  13. make drawings like boxes, grids, binary trees etc. I am in the process
  14. of getting the mannual. My main concern is how good it is and it is worth
  15. the trouble learning it.

  17. Compared to what? My other alternatives would be packages like DrawPerfect,
  18. etc. I do not have an easy access to Mac or Sun(for FrameMaker).
