- Thanks to everyone that answered my question about manfnt.mf. The easiest

- I also received the source code. Thanks!

- Now for a _real_ question. We are building TeX & friends on a Sequent
- Symmetry running DYNIX/ptx. This is the U of Washington tape and the
- version of dvips is 5.47. When dvips runs with bitmap fonts, everything
- is OK. Then we tried to run it using the Blue Sky CM type-1's on our
- printer's hard drive (QMS PS-1700). We just added the font names to
- psfonts.map in this form:
-
- cmr10 CMR10
-
- etc. Most everything runs through except for certain characters: it
- seems that ligatures and other "non-ASCII" characters print with zero
- width, and are subsequently overprinted. So, does anyone have dvips
- running with the Blue Sky fonts? How? Do later versions work better?
-
- Thanks again,
-
