  13. Hello TEX gurus,

  15. I think I need a helping hand with a tex problem. I've tried to make
  16. an EmTeX environment for OS/2 ( service pack installed ).

  18. I installed tex386b8, but got the following error message

  20.  (Fatal format file error; I'm stymied)

  22. The same message appeared also under native DOS. Tex386B6 worked fine
  23. under DOS but doesn't work at all under OS/2, I guess.

  25. The PLAIN.FMT was remade with tex386b8.

  28. And another problem: DVISCR does't find dvidrv.err if I run it from
  29. desktop but works fine under dos-box.
  30.  
  31. I'm confused with this behaviour, so help is really appreciated.
