  16. Hi.  I have been using the letter.sty template in LaTeX for quite a
  17. while now.  I include a postscript header of my university seal, etc.
  18. on the top of the manuscript.  And everything works fine EXCEPT. . . .

  20. For some reason, the body of the letter, including the date appears
  21. a little too "down", i.e., it begins further down the page than I
  22. think it should, with the result that letters that should be one long
  23. page are now two pages.

  25. I tried changing \topmargin, and other things, but nothing seems
  26. to work?  Does anyone have any ideas?
