- I have been using LaTeX for several years now, I am now using it to write
- a book, I would like to build an index.
-
- The index documentation is rather sketchy, apparently I need a program called
- idx.pl to compile the index file generated by LaTeX.
-
- Is this a TeX macro, or an executable.
-
- In either case, where can I find it (MS-DOS and/or Amiga version).
-
- Also what is the syntax for the \index command, especially for subitems?
-
- Thanks, Roger Nelson
