  12.  Has anyone managed to get EmTeX to drive an Epson LQ1050 at the
  13. 360x360 density successfully? (presumably the LQ850/1000/800 would
  14. be equivalent as far as this goes).

  16.  I can't seem to convince dvidot to not put in an extra line-feed
  17. between passes on a given line; so the output text looks like:
  18. This is line 1   [ every 'odd dot' ]
  19. This is line 1   [ every 'even dot', I assume]
  20.  
  21. This is line 2
  22. This is line 2
  23.  
  24.  and so forth. I've tried fiddling with the lqh.dot file, but I
  25. don't really understand what's going on well enough to do much more
  26. than fiddle, and trying the /s+ or /s- switches gets me nowhere.

  28.  (I've set the relevant dip switch to the right place; as far as I
  29. can tell, it's not the printer itself, as printing using the lql
  30. driver and 'shrinking' the fonts to 180x180 works fine -- it's just
  31. that, having spent all that time building the 360x360 fonts, I hate
  32. to waste all that effort -- and, I suppose, the quality will be
  33. lower.)
