- Using \looseness (described on pp 103-104 in The TeXbook)
- in a LaTeX document does not seem to have any effect,
- even when this is coupled with an increased \tolerance.
- Any suggestions on what I may be doing wrong,
- or is this useful tool not available in LaTeX ?
