  12. I've not been able to get Eberhard Mattes's qdtexvpl program to work
  13. for me.  After I've generated the dvi file, when I run qdtexvpl,
  14. I get the error message 
  15.   *** Invalid \special{<...}
  16.  
  17. and the program exits.

  19. Eberhard does not get this behaviour on his machine, which has
  20. puzzled us both.

  22. I'm running OS/2 2.0.

  24. Has anyone else had success or failure with qdtexvpl?  I'd be interested
  25. either way.
