  13.    I would like to include postscript figures in Latex, for example
  14.    created by Xfig, using text with accents, for example written in portuguese
  15.    or french.

  17. Xfig should be able to create these characters (using the compose key).

  19. Another method is to use `special' text (must be made `special' by
  20. using `edit object') using TeX macros. If you use transfig with the
  21. language option pstex (this calls fig2dev for the languages pstex and
  22. pstex_t), the Makefile created will produce a PostScript file
  23. (containing graphics and non-special text) and a TeX file (containing
  24. the special text and \specials including the PostScript part.)
