  15. I have a general question that I am unable to find the answer to in the
  16. manual.

  18. How does a person reset the margins once editing has begun on a document?

  20. Here is the situation.  I choose "NEW" from the framemaker popup menu.
  21. FrameMaker then displays a window, asking me for the template I wish to use.
  22. I select "Custom Document".  I am then given several options to set, such as
  23. top-margin, left-margin, and so forth.  I then click "OK", and my brand
  24. spanking new empty document is displayed for me.

  26. So far so good.

  28. After I type in the letter I am composing, I find that it consumes the entire
  29. first page and 7 line on a second page.  So, I go through the usual changing
  30. of the leading and clipping where I can, but I still can't get those last 2
  31. lines on the first page.

  33. What I would like to do is change the top and/or bottom margin to 1/2 inch
  34. instead of the 1 inch it defaulted to originally.  It seems to me that it
  35. must be possible.  It seems like such an elementary thing to do, but alas
  36. I am too simple to figure it out.
