- [Apologies if this is not the proper newsgroup. ]
-
- I've been using GNU ghostscript 2.52 on my 386BSD system to print
- various manual pages, troff -Tps sources, and papers on my 24 pin
- dot matrix printer. Mostly these print rather smoothly.
-
- Lately, I've got a few postscript documents (like dvips.ps) and other
- papers that have been initially created in TeX, apparently with dvips,
- and ghostscript doesn't like them. In particular, the top line says
- PS-Adobe 2.0 instead of PS-Adobe 1.0, and they look quite a bit
- different than the postscript I'm used to. Ghostscript errors out
- usually with "undefined error -rangecheck in get".
-
- Is there something I'm missing? Do I need a patch or some other
- conversion utility to print this flavor of Postscript?
