- Hi there!
-
- Concerning Robert Gilpin. I know that problem. My first backup took more
- than 10 hours of time.... But it gets really nasty the first time I must
- restore the Harddisk. The first bootsector from the backup wasn't correctly
- saved. It took a lot of time to create a new bootsector to get my
- data's back. So I find hardly the first bug of the HFDC. Sometimes it
- produces faults on the lowlevel writeback to the Floppy. Had anybody the same
- problem? Is it only a Softwarefault? What's the new Versionnumber of the
- DSR-Eprom?
-
- To Robert:
- I solved that problem connecting a second Harddisk and writing a piece of
- Software for backing up from Harddisk to Harddisk. This backup needs 1.5 hours
- for saving my data's (30 MBytes).
