  12. Two enthusiastic members of our UG recently bought a 486 and said goodbye
  13. to the TI world.  One had a fancy and advanced TI system (which he is trying
  14. to sell for the overinflated amount of $750  :-) and the other was one of the
  15. most eloquent defenders of the TI-99/4A.
  16.  
  17. With 486 prices at $1500 including a 15" color monitor, and prices of TI-99/4A
  18. upgrades so costly that many 99'ers cannot afford them or feel they cannot
  19. justify such expenses, are we running out of time?  What do readers of the
  20. group think?

  23. In the meantime, if anybody is interested in some inexpensive hardware and
  24. software, books and magazines from my "extras, please, please, e-mail to me
  25. and ask for a list...  I am trying to find a home for this extra stuff I have,
  26. from a TI-99/4A complete unit (with all cables) for $15 through cartridges,
  27. hardware, books, Micropendiums, 99'er Magazines, etc.
  28. And I would gladly TRADE for items I can use!
