- Two enthusiastic members of our UG recently bought a 486 and said goodbye
- to the TI world. One had a fancy and advanced TI system (which he is trying
- to sell for the overinflated amount of $750 :-) and the other was one of the
- most eloquent defenders of the TI-99/4A.
-
- With 486 prices at $1500 including a 15" color monitor, and prices of TI-99/4A
- upgrades so costly that many 99'ers cannot afford them or feel they cannot
- justify such expenses, are we running out of time? What do readers of the
- group think?
- (please post, do not answer privately to my account.)
-
- In the meantime, if anybody is interested in some inexpensive hardware and
- software, books and magazines from my "extras, please, please, e-mail to me
- and ask for a list... I am trying to find a home for this extra stuff I have,
- from a TI-99/4A complete unit (with all cables) for $15 through cartridges,
- hardware, books, Micropendiums, 99'er Magazines, etc.
- And I would gladly TRADE for items I can use!
