- I purchased a tandy 240 color dot matrix printer. When I use it to print
- pictures created under MS Windows 3.1 Paintbrush, I have trouble with
- complex pictures. Either the printer/print driver seems to loose track of
- where the boarders are and the printout gets skewed. I also am unable to get
- the printer to handle shades of colors -- none of the dithering options (fine,
- coarse, none) seem to work. Colors print the same regardless. I set the
- emulation to Epson, and use the Epson LQ 2400 driver as recommended in the
- printer docs.
-
- I suspect the print driver is the problem...does anyone have any experience
- with this printer, or know where I can get a hold of a driver that can handle
- complex drawings?
-
- Thanks in advance.
