  12. I would suggest making 1-2 copies of each cassette tape, so that way 
  13. you'll always have a backup copy of the programs.  You may wish to 
  14. consider using a high quality metal tape for the longest life.  Once a 
  15. year you might want to boot up the computer and try loading the programs. 
  16. If you can, re-save the data from the computer to tape, as this is more 
  17. effective than a cassette to cassette dub.  I wouldn't write over your 
  18. oringinal, unless it should go bad.  I'd recommend alternating between 
  19. the two backup copies of each program for your annual saves.
  20.     The tapes will probably last longer than a year or two, but if you're 
  21. trying to keep the mint quality, this method will most likely ensure good 
  22. quality over the years...
