- I would suggest making 1-2 copies of each cassette tape, so that way
- you'll always have a backup copy of the programs. You may wish to
- consider using a high quality metal tape for the longest life. Once a
- year you might want to boot up the computer and try loading the programs.
- If you can, re-save the data from the computer to tape, as this is more
- effective than a cassette to cassette dub. I wouldn't write over your
- oringinal, unless it should go bad. I'd recommend alternating between
- the two backup copies of each program for your annual saves.
- The tapes will probably last longer than a year or two, but if you're
- trying to keep the mint quality, this method will most likely ensure good
- quality over the years...
