- I've got a box in my basement (somewhere!) called a "Data Dubber", which
- can be used for re-copying model-1 tapes. It was a Byte project as I
- recall. It takes in a sigal, does some nifty processing, and spits out
- a cleaned up audio signal on the other side of the box. It's yours for 5
- bucks, if I can find it, if you're interested.
-
- Otherwise, perhaps you could save them to HI-FI VHS, which has higher
- quality than casette. Or DAT? That might be best, save it as an audio
- signal on a digital tape and it'll not degrade for a good long time.
-
- Oh, if you're going to show the model 1, the paint which has worn off
- (most likely) can be matched with a GM color from the early 80's, check
- with your chevy dealer.
