  11. A few weeks ago, I posted a message saying that I heard that a Model 2 
  12. owner had replaced his 8" drives with 3-1/2" drives with no 
  13. modifications.  Another user wrote me saying that this information was 
  14. incorrect, and after some research to verify this, 3-1/2" floppies will 
  15. NOT work on your M2 without extensive modifications.  The drive 
  16. connectors are different (by 16 contacts) and the M2 8" drives rotate at 
  17. 360rpms as compaired to the 300rmps used by the 3-1/2" drives.
