  12. We are offering the same courses through UC Extension
  13. and we wanted to cover the UNIX utilities developed at Sun
  14. called "rpc".

  16. We had hoped to include documentation about rpc in our course notes
  17. but didn't have a good source for books about it.

  20. an online copy of the  RPCGEN Programming Guide, Remote Procedure Call
