  10. We are trying to compile and link a bunch of programs that are 
  11. supposed to be compiled using the Sun ANSI C compiler.  However,
  12. we do not have this, and gcc seems to work fine.  ld gave one unresoved
  13. reference, ___ansi_fflush, and declaring a function __ansi_fflush(){}; 
  14. solved that!  At the moment, the program is working partially ( it 
  15. requires another program, which we are in the process of configuring
  16. at the moment).

  18. Are there major problems ahead if we try using gcc instead of Sun's ANSI
  19. C compiler ?  Are there ansi libraries that we need to get hold of ?

  22. Any information / opinions / experiences welcomed...
