I just check our new SS10 Model 20.  I turned it on for the first time a little
bit ago and it thunk for a little bit and then booted up 4.1.3.

<PS we don't have software support either. Starving non-profit public
<institution.

Actually you do have support.  You can call within the 90 day warranty period.
