- I would like to put extra disk space on a Sparc 1+, but the SCSI cables are
- already close to maximum length. I have a Sun 669MB disk in a shoebox case
- with a QIC tape drive. I see two possibilities.
-
- One would be to add an extra disk drive to the chain without exceeding the
- cable length limit. Could this be done by adding another drive inside the
- shoebox? Is there enough space and is it electrically appropriate to do this?
-
- The other would be to replace the existing 669MB drive with something bigger.
- Is this a standard drive that could be replaced easily?
-
- Thanks for any help.
