- It has to do with "greed". And although the "decade of greed" ended 3
- years ago, I doubt that most people have abandoned the idea that money
- can make life less miserable :-). The "parasites" that invest money
- in companies expect to get something back, when the companies' products
- sell well and generate earnings.

- Sun's products generate earnings because people buy them. DEC's
- products don't. I've made a ton of money on Sun stock, and lost a ton
- on DEC stock. (or at least a couple of pounds on each :-). I suspect that
- parasites like me have something in common with computer buyers/users
- like me.
