  13. One of my co-workers is having a problem with ToolTalk programming.  If you

  17. I've just started learning about ToolTalk, and have run into a problem
  18. which so far continues to mystify me. I copied the demo source code from
  19. $OPENWINHOME/share/src/tooltalk into my own tooltalk directory, and
  20. built them using the 'make' command. When the Makefile gets to the
  21. part where the ptype and otype definitions are to be installed in the
  22. Classing Engine, I get the following error:

  25. tt_type_comp -DTOOLTALK_DEMO_DIR=`pwd` edit.types.model
  26. Received Classing Engine error 1 (Error reading db)
  27. Can't read types in user database
  28. *** Error code 1
  29. make: Fatal error: Command failed for target `edit.types'

  31. Is there a problem with tt_type_comp? Or is it my ~/.cetables/cetables file?
  32. (My File Manager works fine, even with new icons that I have added). I
  33. even tried copying in a different cetables file (saving my old one first,
  34. of course).
