- One of my co-workers is having a problem with ToolTalk programming. If you
- can help, please respond via email. Thanks.

- I've just started learning about ToolTalk, and have run into a problem
- which so far continues to mystify me. I copied the demo source code from
- $OPENWINHOME/share/src/tooltalk into my own tooltalk directory, and
- built them using the 'make' command. When the Makefile gets to the
- part where the ptype and otype definitions are to be installed in the
- Classing Engine, I get the following error:
-
- % make
- tt_type_comp -DTOOLTALK_DEMO_DIR=`pwd` edit.types.model
- Received Classing Engine error 1 (Error reading db)
- Can't read types in user database
- *** Error code 1
- make: Fatal error: Command failed for target `edit.types'
-
- Is there a problem with tt_type_comp? Or is it my ~/.cetables/cetables file?
- (My File Manager works fine, even with new icons that I have added). I
- even tried copying in a different cetables file (saving my old one first,
- of course).
