- I am getting an error in the SchemaDesign for one ORACLE userid
- on both a production and test database. DataBrowse and
- ReportWrite work fine. All other ORACLE user ids work fine
- with SchemaDesign, DataBrowse and Reportwrite.
-
- ERROR: A serious error orccured in the working
- copy of the schems draft.
- PDI_ERR_OBJECT_NOT_FOUND: field,
- <unknown>, does not exist in the schema.
-
- I have run remove_simp_schems and reconverted the database
- several times, but was unable to solve the problem for that
- one userid.
-
- I have spoken with SUN, and they have indicated that this is
- a bug in the software and that a patch would need to be written
- which will take about a month. I spoke with my ORACLE DBA
- and she indicated that it is not ORACLE related.
-
- I'm not a SimplifySQL expert or an ORACLE expert, but something
- about this thing just doesn't sit right. How can I get this
- error message for just one userid in one section of the
- software on 2 seperate databases.
-
- SUN/OS - 4.1.3
- SimplifySQL - 1.1.1 latest patch install - 100486-03
- DBMS - ORACLE
