- I recall reading here (many moons ago, when I didn't need it) about
- how ginit() is evil under 4.0.X and should be replaced by something
- else.
-
- I have an application that uses ginit to occupy the whole screen,
- then uses tpon and tpoff to bring up and put away the textport
- while the program is running. Under 4.0.X this doesn't work any
- more -- the tpon command freezes the screen and the program has to
- be externally killed.
-
- Does anyone remember the fix for this?
-
- Thanks in advance,
-
