  10. I recall reading here (many moons ago, when I didn't need it) about
  11. how ginit() is evil under 4.0.X and should be replaced by something
  12. else.

  14. I have an application that uses ginit to occupy the whole screen,
  15. then uses tpon and tpoff to bring up and put away the textport
  16. while the program is running.  Under 4.0.X this doesn't work any
  17. more -- the tpon command freezes the screen and the program has to
  18. be externally killed.

  20. Does anyone remember the fix for this?
