  12.   I'm seeking some help please in trying to figure out how to get NTSC video
  13. out of an Iris 2400 Turbo that was recently given to me.  I've discovered 
  14. that the machine can be configured for two out of three display monitor 
  15. types: 60Hz-noninterlaced, 30Hz-interlaced and NTSC.  It currently is set 
  16. for 60Hz and 30Hz.  I'd prefer NTSC to 30Hz since I'd like to do some 
  17. animation work.  Any idea what it takes to get NTSC out?
  18. I seem to remember that it required switching some internal DIP switches
  19. on a card but who knows which ones?

  21. I'd also like to know what each card does.  There are three cards on one 
  22. side and five cards on the other.  They are labeled:

  24. IP1
  25. Ethernet
  26. DSD
  27.  
  28. BP3
  29. BP3
  30. DC4
  31. UC4
  32. GF2

  34. Ethernet is obvious, I think IP1 is some sort of interprocessor/bus interface
  35. card for connecting the cards on the left side to those on the right.
  36. I don't know what DSD might be (disk controller?).
  37. I suspect the BP3's are bitplane cards (3 planes?).  GF2 may be the geometry
  38. engines.  And DC4, UC4 the processor and RAM cards (I know there's 4M of RAM).
