- I just became the (proud?) new owner of an Iris 2400 Turbo and have the
- following questions about it:
-
- * What processor does it use, 68020?
- * What are the specs for the 3D graphics performance?
- * What type of hard disk does it use? It doesn't seem to be SCSI; it has
- two edge connectors (one of about 36 contacts and one of about 16) as
- well as a power connector. I'd like to get a 100M drive for it since
- the current drive is only 40M. (If you have one to sell, I'm interested.)
- * If the machine is configured for the 60Hz and 30Hz hi-res modes how do I
- change it to 60Hz and NTSC? Does this entail flipping DIP switches or
- do I have to swap a card?
- * The disk has been wiped of all the SGI provided graphics tools and
- example programs. Can anyone supply me with a copy of them?
- * Anyone have any memory, bitplanes, accessories (dial/button box), hard
- drive that they want to sell real cheap?
